September’s Book of the Month
Okay, a little delayed here, but better late than never, am I right? This month of reading was not my best. I read six books which is better than nothing but I try to average 10 books a month.
Without further ado, here is the book I nominated to be my favorite of the month.
A unique retelling of The Little Mermaid meets Scottish Highlands. This was a quick, fun read and though it wasn’t a deep, meaningful one it offered a quick escape that wasn’t just constant rutting. This romance consisted of a lot of build up rather than tumbling into the smut right away.
I gave it 3 crowns.

But secrets never stay secret for long, and when she finds her plaid, her memory returns and she flees. Malcolm is forced to make a difficult choice to win her back, facing his darkest fears and his worst enemy for a chance at true love.
