This particular quote has always stood out to me. It’s from the Vampire Queen series by Rebecca Maizel. I adored Rhodes and this line always struck a cord with me. This was one of the first books that started my new outlook on reading and by new outlook I mean it is what sparked my tendency to devour rather than read.
