The last Saturday of every month Sissy will feature all of the books that she either purchased or was given to her during the month.
10 books will be highlighted this month.

Unfortunately, I didn’t attend any book sales this month. I hosted my own book sale to reduce some overflow I had. I came up with the fun idea to also host a mystery book swap, each participant would bring a book, wrap it, and label it with the genre, no title or author. Guests were also able to bring their books to sell as well!
Book Party:
Snow Goose by Paul Gallico – I haven’t read it yet but it’s a short story.
The Julius House by Charlaine Harris – My grandmother brought this to my book party, she had no idea who the author was and said “here, take it, you might like it.” Pretty much how every Christmas is… 😉
Robot Dreams by Isaac Asimov – I picked this during the book swap. I saw it was labeled Science Fiction and Short Stories, I thought it’d be a good way to wrap my noggin’ around Science Fiction. I largely don’t read it,but I dabble in it and I’m trying to enjoy it more.
The Thirteenth Earl by Evelyn Pryce – One of my guests brought books to sell/swap out and this was one we swapped for.
Thrift Store:
Pinocchio by Carl Collodi – Perfect addition to my Puffin Classics!
Before I fall by Lauren Oliver – I had always been curious about this, so a golden find at the thrift shop.
The Shadow Queen by Anne Bishop – I have never read anything by Anne Bishop but I hear nothing but good things about her and whenever I see a piece of her work I have to acquire it!
Online Orders:
A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas – This book was SO fantastic, I loved it. So much better than the first by leaps and bounds. Just can’t rave enough about it.
Of Beast and Beauty by Stacey Jay – My friend recommended this read to me since I’m on a Beauty & The Beast retelling kick, or just a retelling kick in general. *noshame*
The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater – I ordered this for a book club read this month and I never got around to it. Shameful of me, I know, but I spent my free time reading/consuming A Court Of Mist and Fury. 😐 Sorry, not sorry!
