I’m new to the mystery genre, I’ve been branching out as of late and I find that I like a good twist in a story, I like engaging characters that don’t leave me feeling like I’ve just read a newspaper and that make me really enjoy the front story as well as the back stories.

This book seemed a little all over the place for me and maybe that’s just because I wasn’t overly into it until the very end. The story itself just seemed to tread water unless you want to count the murders that happen.

All of the characters are flat, kept me disengaged and it was overly nothing to remember. It’s a quick filler read, if you’re sitting in the doctor’s office it’s purely something to pass away the time. The writing wasn’t bad, it just wasn’t for me.
